Whitlock si è spento nella notte di domenica 10 agosto nella sua casa in Texas, all’età di 77 anni, dopo una breve malattia. A confermare la triste notizia è stata la sua manager, Carol Kaye: “Bobby era un’anima unica, un talento straordinario che ha dato tanto alla musica”. Una carriera segnata dal genio musicale.
