Non è stato menzionato durante la conferenza stampa di presentazione, ma ci sarà anche lui. Spike Lee sarà al Festival di Cannes 2025 con Highest 2 Lowest, remake del thriller del 1963 del giapponese Akira Kurosawa High and Low, con protagonista Denzel Washington. Lo ha annunciato lui stesso su Instagram circa un’ora dopo la rivelazione del cartellone ufficiale con un breve post e la foto di una toppa riportante il titolo del film. «Bonjour, che c’è di nuovo?» ha sottolineato il cineasta. «Il mio nuovo lungometraggio è stato invitato al Festival, nella categoria fuori concorso ». Dimenticanza o scelta strategica? Già durante la conferenza, il delegato generale di Cannes Thierry Fremaux aveva tuttavia concluso dicendo che qualcuno gli aveva scritto un messaggio per dirgli che «non aveva citato un’opera», pur senza menzionare Lee. 🔗 Leggi su Lettera43.it
